John 15:1-8

Loving Divine Family,

We awaken in the morning to find ourselves in your vineyard. We feel your life coursing through us. You feed us from your rich storehouse. We are connected to you. We are your image-bearers. To separate from you would cause us irreparable damage. Indeed, you give us every reason to stay with you.

Master Gardener, thank you for this prayer time with you. You desire for us to be connected with you and for us to grow and be fruitful. We long to be fruitful, to be beautiful. Thank you for gently reminding us that dead growth needs to be removed, so we can continue to grow. Thank you for your tender, loving, and kind touch. We lean into you, we abide in you.

I feel your life coursing through me today, Wonderful Gardener, and thank you for…

Your soil is rich; you bring life to all who choose to attach to you. We cannot imagine ever leaving your presence. We have journeyed far with you on your Ancient Path. Just as we wake in the morning with you, so also will we watch the sun set, and we will rest in your presence forever.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
