Acts 1:1-11

Loving Divine Family,

We gather in the presence of your messengers, in the shade of your heavenly coverings. You have been with us through trials and celebrations. You have taught and encouraged us. Even now, you remind us of your presence and promises.

Thank you, God,for creating us for life and for preserving us. You created us for joy and encourage us to look for ways for your joy to flow from us. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for keeping God’s purpose in us and bringing God’s life-giving power through us.

I feel encouraged under your heavenly covering today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

We seek you with our whole hearts. We remember the times you have made yourself known to us, and the times we trusted when we could not see you. We will follow you all our days, and celebrate your eternal love for us.
