“Mark 16:1-8 (Good News Translation)” by Connie Beingessner.

Mark 16:1-8

Loving Divine Family,

We gather at the tomb of our LORD, in the shadow of the gravestone. This is a Faith-marker of all creation. In this sacred prayer space, you welcome and embrace us. In the bright morning, you share the greatest of news with us – the LORD is risen!

Praise to you, Yahweh; the grave could not hold Jesus. Faithful Divine Family, you kept your word and provided life. We are in awe of your loving presence among us that gives us strength and energy. Thank you for entrusting us to share your message of love to your beloved children.

I feel alive in your garden today, Loving Saviour, and thank you for…

Be in our eyes, so we will see and believe. Be in our ears, so we will hear the fanfare of creation singing your praises. Be our courage, so we will not be scared at the news of your miracles.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
