We bow to you in prayer and worship. All that was once destroyed is restored again in your presence. Create in us clean hearts; renew and restore us. Make us even better than before. Equip us to walk in your ways and delight in your will, by the power of your Holy Name.

Today, we invite you to reread, rest and reflect on the prayers of the past week.

We rest in your pastures. In this sacred prayer and worship space, we want for nothing. You speak, and we know your voice. You invite us to journey with you through these peaceful paddocks. We know you will not leave us, but will protect us when danger lurks.

We gather behind closed doors. Your mighty love protects us from the dangers of the world. You meet us in your sacred prayer space, reminding us that a mere physical door will not separate us from danger or peril unless it is by your holy desire.

You know our thoughts and hearts. We harbour anger, hatred, jealousy, and selfishness. We worship other gods and participate in actions that break our connection to you. The law shows no mercy or compassion. We do not want to be under the law; we want to follow you. Thank you for pruning us, for removing the dead growth. Thank you Life Giving Spirit for gently caring and tending to us. So we can produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control.
