Daniel 9:1-19

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space clothed in sackcloth and ashes. Throughout the generations, you have guided and walked with our ancestors. Yet, they have not always respected or followed you. They prayed, as we do now, that their future generations would return to you. Even now, in this space, your love is reaching us.

Almighty, loving Yahweh, you keep your word and honour your covenant of love. We have sinned; we have not listened to you. We humbly confess. Thank you for looking upon us in favour and hearing our cries and prayers. Thank you for listening to us.

I feel you embracing me today, LORD of the Ages, and thank you for…

Forbid it, LORD, that we should give up. Rise in our hearts and fill us with new strength, so we will look with diligence for your guidance. Prepare us for your call to action. Find us faithful to be the answer to the prayers of our ancestors.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
