“Micah 7:8-20 (Easy to Read Version)” by Connie Beingessner.

Micah 7:8-20

Loving Divine Family,

Life has returned to winterlands. Nests are filled, trees prepare to bloom, and warm winds blow through the fields. Life-giving Spirit breathes through and around all creation. All beings remember the feeling of her breath, and lean into her embrace and kisses as she passes by.

Loving Shepherd, no one is like you. You gently lead your people to bountiful lands and into the light. You take joy in showing mercy. Thank you for restoring us.

I feel Life-giving Spirit’s breath and kisses today, Mighty Creator, and thank you for…

All that was asleep is awake again! Like geese, who mate for life, you have found us and will care for all our needs. You are our faithful companion on your Ancient Path, for all eternity. May you, and all who come behind us, find us forever faithful. We give you thanks for your faithful, everlasting love.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
